I got my food handlers card

Every two years we have to take a test

(and of course pass it!)

It's very official, we take the test at the

DEPARTMENT OF ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH.

The questions are about food protection.

We are LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE to do our

part to keep food safe.

We must know about

BACTERIA,

food handling, food preparation, storage,

cross-contamination, Danger zones,

pest control, sanitation

and more.

Everyone working in the food industry must have this card

and pass this test.
